A private educational institution is seeking to recruit Primary and Junior Secondary School teachers and P.E. and Games Teacher.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing lessons and establishing and communicating clear objectives for lessons.
• Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students.
• Encouraging students to explore learning opportunities and career paths.
• Creating, assigning and grading various assessments for students, including tests, quizzes, exams and projects.
• Evaluating students’ progress.
• Working with students one-on-one when they need extra help or attention.
• Tracking and evaluating student academic progress.
• Participating in parent-teacher meetings.
• Prepares register, diary and record card.
• Helping students improve study methods and habits.
• Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and school events.
• Serve as a role model and maintain learner discipline to create a conducive environment for learning.
• Provide guidance and counselling services to learners.
• Observe and understand students’ behaviour and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.
• Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education
• Diploma in Education
• TSC Registration
• 2 years’ work experience
