Based in Ibadan, with our head office located at Odo Ona, we specialize in delivering exceptional dining and food experiences. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growth.
Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s business growth by identifying new opportunities, forging strong partnerships, and expanding our market presence in the food and hospitality sector. This individual will have a proven track record in business development, a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, and the ability to strategize and execute plans that align with Homeland Foodie’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand Homeland Foodie’s market reach in the hospitality industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and industry partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, driving revenue growth and market penetration.
- Lead negotiations and contracts, ensuring that all business deals are aligned with company objectives and values.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of new initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and management, to execute business development plans.
- Represent Homeland Foodie at industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and enhance the company’s reputation in the hospitality space.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development role, with a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the food, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies, drive business initiatives, and achieve set goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
