Job Details

• Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project
• Produce/monitor project from inception to completion.
• Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data.
• Assist with the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for project.
• Carryout site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards.
• Carry out inspection and/or structural assessment of existing structures.
• Carryout engineering design and assessment of new and existing structures.
• Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Prepare bills of quantity.
• Prepares detailed dimensional drawings for civil/structural project.
• Report technical issues on site to unit head
• Interpretation and application of Nexant policies and procedures to the construction activities.
• Ensure quality of work done is consistent with Nexant values.
• Ensure contractors meet agreed deadlines.
• Produce and contribute to project reports.
• Have understanding and good working knowledge of project plan.
• Actively involved in bringing new opportunities to the company.
• Performing all quality functions relating to the role in accordance with the organization’s QMS
