MANAGER ENFORCEMENT (GRADE 4) – REF: CMA/ME/04/2025– 1 POST
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investigations and Enforcement, the Manager Enforcement will be responsible for management and conduct of enforcement matters with respect to regulatory breaches and recommending appropriate action in line with the provisions of the Constitution and the applicable regulatory framework. This is a position under permanent and pensionable terms of service.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing, developing and implementing enforcement programs, systems, manuals and procedures to achieve protection of investors’ interest, enhance market integrity and increase deterrence;
- Coordinating the processes leading to prosecution, defence and administrative actions for breaches of regulatory framework;
- Coordinating the representation of the Authority in hearings in courts, tribunals and other forums;
- Coordinating the implementation of capital market intelligence gathering frameworks for the Enforcement Unit;

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Analysis and Reporting, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for coordinating the analysis and interpretation of financial statements for issuers of securities, market intermediaries and approved institutions prior to licensing and on a continuing basis, to ensure compliance with Legal and Regulatory requirements, Provisions of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and other standards to protect investor interests.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinating the review and analysis of financial statements and other information submitted in support of applications by market intermediaries including fund Managers, investment advisers, Stockbrokers, Authorized Depositories, Investment Banks, REIT Managers, derivative brokers, clearing members, FinTech firms etc. to ensure compliance with the Capital Markets Legal and Regulatory requirements;
- Coordinating the maintenance of updated relevant databases relating to financial data, including; submission of accounts, publication of financial statements, summaries of financial analysis, corporate bonds and commercial paper, unit trust information, approved list of ICPAK auditors;
- Coordinating the review of financial information on notices, announcements, advertisements and other required publications by market intermediaries and making recommendations of their suitability for publication;
- Conducting the financial review of applications for licensing of market intermediaries and approval of institutions and products;
- Conducting financial review and recommending approval of prospectuses and all the other documents submitted in support of applications for approval of issue of securities to the public through Public Offerings;

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Manager Compliance, the Senior Compliance Officer is responsible for providing guidance and advice to market intermediaries on compliance practices through close liaison with the market participant’s compliance staff, risk and internal audit to ensure strong internal control and compliance environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinating risk profiling of market intermediaries and preparation of reports to management;
- Coordinating preparation of inspection reports, compliance status report and risk profiling summaries;
- Conducting onsite and offsite inspection activities in accordance with risk-based supervision methodologies and approved plans as well as terms of references;

Job Responsibilities
- Undertaking development and implementation of strategies, policies and programs for licensing of market intermediaries and approval of institutions, corporate actions and other products as required under the Capital Markets Legal and Regulatory Framework;
- Spearheading the development and implementation of strategies, policies and programs for review of periodic financial information by market intermediaries and issuers of securities and promoting application of corporate governance standards structures and practices by issuers of securities and institutional investors;
- Guiding the approval process of Private placements; corporate actions like bonus issue, rights issue, share splits, and restructuring transactions by issuers of securities like mergers, acquisitions and takeovers, to ensure compliance with Capital Markets Legal and Regulatory Framework;
- Liaising with Government Agencies, Securities Exchanges, Central Depository & Settlement Corporations, legal firms and other key stakeholders regarding issues, listings, licensing applications as well as governance matters;

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Principal Accountant (Financial Accounting), the Senior Accountant will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing timely and accurate payments and reporting as scheduled at the Authority.
Job Responsibilities
- Co-ordinating receipt, registration, recording and posting of vendor invoices, accruals and provisions;
- Co-ordinating the payment process by ensuring payment documents and vouchers are accurately matched supported with procurement documents;
- Reconciling supplier accounts, other payable accounts including but not limited to PAYE, Withholding Income tax and Withholding VAT and general review of expense accounts;
- Preparing creditors’ aged analysis and dealing with outstanding issues including following up with the suppliers for any necessary information or documentation;
- Confirming the filing and maintenance of updated records of all the Journals, payment vouchers, invoices, etc and leverage on process automation;
- Verifying on monthly basis, the accuracy of the General Ledger, invoices posted, journals passed, receipts posted and in consultation with the Financial Accountant, facilitate accurate preparation of financial statements;
- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly cashflow projection reports monthly management reports and quarterly statutory reports; and

Job Purpose

Job responsibilities
- Supervising the formulation, implementation, review and rationalization of the CMA corporate budget;
- Ensuring the financial integrity of the Authority’s financial transactions as a Category A signatory to all CMA cheques and financial transactions;
- Managing the formulation, implementation and review of the Authority’s People and Culture strategies, plans and programs;
- Directing the formulation, implementation and review of the Authority’s Accounting and Finance strategies and plans to ensure corporate sustainability;
